How does this medicine work
Bevacizumab is a clear liquid that is injected into a vein. It works as follows:-
Bevacizumab is a medication that helps fight cancer by targeting a protein called VEGF, which is involved in the growth of blood vessels that tumors need to survive. By binding to VEGF, bevacizumab stops it from working, which reduces the blood supply to tumors and slows down their growth. Unlike some other cancer treatments, bevacizumab doesn't specifically target cells at a particular stage of the cell cycle. Instead, it works by interfering with the formation of blood vessels that tumors need to grow, regardless of the stage of cell division.
